The Marriott Waterfront in Harbor East has this great holiday showcase in the lobby and lounge of its hotel. The gingerbread houses resembled some of the brownstones on Park Ave., the choo-choo train zoomed by to the delight of the admiring children (and adults), the christmas tree glistened and the one-eyed Natty Boh paid homage to a Baltimore landmark.

New York City will be buzzing extra special-like tonight as the lighting of the christmas tree takes place at Rockefeller Center. NBC will air the one hour musical spectacular at 8pm featuring Mariah Carey, CeeLo Green, Rod Stewart and a plethora of other special guests.

The Norway Spruce is estimated to be 80 years old, stands almost 80 ft. tall and will make its debut at the 80th annual Christmas In Rockefeller Center! The 80's ROCK!!! Hehehe... Enjoy, folks!

How cool is this! My aunt, Betty , was on the back cover of French Elle in 1974. A photographer spotted her in New York City and just had to get a photo of this extraordinary being! Just look at her! She was and still is completely fierce! The one to the right folks...with the star on her face! You got it?!? Ha!

She traveled the world as a stylist extraordinaire dominating the hair & beauty industry. Her unique and ground-breaking style became her signature along with the eye-catching star that adorns her left cheek. At concerts, that she and her crew of fabulous folks attended, the artists and celebrities had to give her props as she commanded the attention...everytime. She says that I am an extension of her imagination. Ha! I'll take that!

This is a heck of collabo! Neiman Marcus and Target are joining forces along with 24 designers to show their continued support to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

December 1st marks the launch of this effort which will have a limited time offer of designer pieces at bargain prices in stores and on line for both retailers. Carolina Herrera, Tracey Reese, Diane Von Furstenberg, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs and a host of other designers are participating for this monumental occasion in fashion.

The 2012 Soul Train Awards airs tonight on Centric TV and will have performances by Tyrese, Tank, Faith Evans, New Edition and more. The awards show will pay a tribute to the late founder of Soul Train, Don Cornelius and will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. Check it out and enjoy!

Toni Braxton was one of the very few artists of whom I collected almost every album. From her 1993 self-titled debut to 2005's Libra, I've enjoyed the entire collection. I think I only stopped getting the albums because of how times were changing with the way we listen to music.

Not only does she have a voice to be reckoned with but, she is fearless with her style as you can see the many mane looks of Ms. Braxton.

She and her sisters are reveling in reality star success on WE tv with their hit show Braxton Family Values. I believe that they are even working on debuting a talk show similar to The View. We'll just have to wait and see!

Salli Richardson-Whitfield began her acting career in 1987, but became recognized for her role as the beauty, Lana, opposite Mario Van Peebles' character in 1993's Posse. The next year she appeared in Keenen Ivory Wayans' action-comedy A Low Down Dirty Shame as Angela.

She has had a steady career for over 25 years and married fellow actor Dondre Whitfield. You all remember, "Rooobbbeeerrrt!" On The Cosby Show, Vanessa couldn't get enough of him. He's quite grown up now and they make a lovely couple.

There were a few great highlights at the 2012 American Music Awards last evening. Taylor Swift was a quick-change artist on stage, Chris Brown, Swizz Beatz & Ludacris got the crowd pumped and several other artists had memorable performances.

But, I have to say...P!nk left the audience breathless with an interpretive dance to her latest song "Try" and Psy was 'too legit to quit' with "Gangnam Style" and his special guest, the Legit One himself, MC Hammer! Everyone rose to their feet to cheer on the exciting collaboration.

I recently saw the Gangnam Style video that has over 750 million views on YouTube. With all of the hype, I thought he was another overnight success due to a made-at-home video gone viral. I feel better knowing that he has been at it since 1999 and this hit comes from his 6th album.

Tonight's American Music Awards will be filled with performances by the industry's top artists. The shows line up includes appearances by Carly Rae Jepson, Chris Brown, Usher, No Doubt, Christina Aguilera who is set to open up the show, Stevie Wonder - performing a special tribute for Dick Clark and a host of others.

The 40th anniversary awards show airs live on ABC at 8pm. Check out the red carpet as early as 5pm online at ABC.

I was searching for inspiration and found this wonderful piece of art via fashion photography. I'm not sure who the photographer is but, I definitely know the designer. My go to for extreme visions and works that almost always cause a stir: Alexander McQueen.

This incredibly detailed dress is from McQueen's Widows of Culloden Autumn/Winter 2006/07 collection. Resin antlers were added to the ensemble and a £2,000 piece of embroidered work was poked through to complete the vision. Talk about audacity.

Yesterday, Shania made quite an entrance on the Vegas strip to kick off her 2 year residence at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She arrived on horseback and had a herd of 40 horses parade in with her. Now, if that ain't representing "country music" then, I don't know what is.

I can't be mad at Ms. Rihanna. The girl is on fire! Her latest hit Diamonds is dominating the charts and considered to be the fastest-rising single of her career.

The '777' tour begins today in Mexico City and ends in...where else, New York City on the 20th. The chartered Boeing 777 will transport Rihanna, fans and press to 7 countries in 7 days for 7 concerts. Talk about making a statement!

UNAPOLOGETIC, her 7th studio album in 7 years will be released on Nov. 19th. I think I see a pattern here. Ha! Get 'em, Rihanna.

The red carpets have definitely seen plenty of skin but, November seems to be the most popular month for Hollywood's favs to go bare.

Halle Berry braved the Moscow weather and heated things up in her signature figure-flattering style of dress. This Catherine Malandrino long sleeve, black leather & sheer LBD was just what the doctor ordered to help fight off some of the chill at the Cloud Atlas premiere.

Yesterday, Selena Gomez was honored at Glamour's Women of the Year Awards in NYC and glowed in a Giambattista Valli white peplum dress with sheer and lace embellishments. Her solo appearance comes right off the heels of a highly publicized split with longtime boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Kristen Stewart was stunning in a barely-there, satin & lace dress by Zuhair Murad at the final premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles.

Today is the 38th birthday of one of Hollywood's finest.

From his early days on the small screen as Luke Brower on Growing Pains to his unforgettable silver screen performances in films like Titanic, The Aviator and Inception, Leonardo DiCaprio seems to just be heating things up.

I'm looking forward to the day when he finally gets to accept that Oscar. Happy Birthday, Leo!

As if Jamie Foxx weren't "amazing" enough, it was announced that he very well may be the villain Electro in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 slated for a 2014 release.

Since his early days on In Living Color, Mr. Foxx has been exercising his talents as a comedian, actor, musician and singer and continues to hone his crafts in all genres.

Jamie can be seen in theaters on Christmas Day as the lead in Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained. The film has an all-star cast including Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson.

Jodie Foster began her career at the ripe old age of three when she was cast as a Coppertone Girl in a television commercial. Before she headed off to college, she had already made nearly 50 film/TV appearances.

One of her most memorable roles is probably as Clarice Starling in the film Silence of the Lambs also starring Anthony Hopkins. He made the name Clarice infamous in film history when his character Hannibal Lecter taunted by creepily saying her name.

Jodie will be honored at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for her contributions to the entertainment world. At 49, she is the youngest to earn this honor since Charlton Heston in 1967.
